The World in 2050 is the brainchild of entrepreneur Ana C. Rold, the Founder and Publisher of Diplomatic Courier. Ana is also co-owner and CEO of Washington, DC-based global affairs media firm, Medauras Global. She teaches Comparative Politics at Northeastern University and serves on multiple non-profit boards and leadership committees.
Andrew M. Beato is a partner of legal firm Stein, Mitchell and Muse, LLP in Washington, DC. Mr. Beato’s practice concentrates on antitrust and trade regulation, including advertising, Internet, and privacy laws.
Admiral Sir Ian Forbes joined the Royal Navy in 1965. He has spent much of his career at sea, including tours in HM Yacht Brittania and on American Exchange with the USS W.H. Standley. Currently in his retirement, Admiral Forbes is a member of the Windsor Leadership Trust.
Lisa Gable is a former U.S. Ambassador and the President Emeritus of the Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation, a CEO led initiative aimed at helping to reduce obesity, especially childhood obesity, in America.
Mary D. Kane is President and CEO of Sister Cities International where she leads the membership, youth and education, development, and advocacy programs to strengthen the sister city network around the world. Before joining the Chamber, Kane was the secretary of state in Maryland and a former assistant state’s attorney.
Greg Lebedev currently holds a portfolio of assignments, which span the business, government and philanthropic sectors. He is a Senior Advisor to the President and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (as well as a Board Member), the largest business federation in the world.
Anita B. McBride is currently the Executive-in-Residence at the Center for Presidential and Congressional Studies in the School of Public Affairs at American University in Washington, DC. She is the former Chair of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
